Big Week

Not that anyone needs a reminder about this Wednesday’s gender deciding visit to the doc. No silly repartee in this column, for once I am throwing this week’s commentary to the gallery. So don’t pick up the phone and call Ashley with your prediction. I want to record what everyone thinks about what’s cooking in Ashley’s oven. Some people have been non-existent in the blog, thus defying the original intent…To capture thoughts/feelings/reactions in a virtual tape recorder.

By the way, this outfit you are looking at is showcased every day and every night. The classic white tank with flannel PJ pants, circa 1992.

Ok point made Mr. Golia!! For those who might not know, once you click the "comment" link, choose the "Name/URL" option. Just enter your name, nothing for the URL. **My guess is BOY--sorry Mom :)

Well, I've been silent long enough........keep in mind, this is not a prediction, I know....... Actually, Cloud said; "if there is another boy around here, I'm gonna scream, so........we're gonna have a little girl !!!

I go with GIRL! I kept going back and forth since it seems like in the Golia family a boy comes first.

As we are all expecting the news TOMORROW of what we think LittleGolia will be, I am going to predict it will be a BOY....why? Because I think deep down inside, that Dave the Father, wants to raise a future PHILADELPHIA EAGLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And when Baby Boy Golia is born, Dave will immediately begin to start dressing him in GREEN baby clothes...preparing for the future.
Love to you both, and waiting with anticipation for the announcement. GranPa Marty

Before I make a guess if I think the baby is a boy or girl, I just want to say I'm going to be excited about either way. I know everyone thinks I want a girl the only reason that may be true is because I have a hard time seeing Ashley doing boy stuff. When they get older they tend to be sloppy, messy, stinky, wanting to bring frogs and snakes in the house or worse! I know either way Ashley and Dave will be the best parents ever and Luxzie Bear is going to protect and love the baby no matter what. Saying all that I believe baby Golia is a girl! Love Mamaw

Heyward...Sounds like a name that is destined to bat 260. I am looking for a 300 hundred hitter.

I understand so I guess you could go with Utley, oh wait that 260 thing, I guess not. Mabye i missed it but i have not seen your prediction.

Girl. Because Ash is secretly praying for one.

Meggie's guess - a little Ashley GIRL! With of course Dave's sweet charm and an incredible love for sports! For selfish reasons, my girls need a cool chic to hang out with! Good luck, I am so happy for you both and can't wait to hear the news. Either way, boy or girl, life's greatest blessing - I know you with be incredible parents!

My original prediction on Monday never made the posting (by now somewhere in cyber space), so now that I know that David will be coaching a little girls soccer team vs. a boys, I will tell you I thought it was also a boy, so I was wrong.
Now he will have to keep in mind that little girls tend to be distracted when playing soccer….(picking a dandelion sometimes is more fun). The both of you will make great parents! I can't wait to hear about the decorating now that we know it's a little girl!Congratulations from Mom Mom and Pop Pop!
